PROJECT BRIEF:

Taptap Send needed a human-driven campaign that could connect with immigrant communities across the U.S.—not through corporate messaging, but through honest, emotional storytelling that reflects the lived experience of sending money home.

INSIGHT:

For first-generation immigrants, remittance isn’t just a transaction—it’s a lifeline. It’s a way of showing up for loved ones from thousands of miles away. It’s not about the money—it’s about what the money means.

THE CHALLENGE:

We had to tell stories that felt personal yet universal—across three distinct communities and languages (Urdu, Tagalog, and Nepali). Every narrative needed to land emotionally, culturally, and visually, while still highlighting the core benefits of the product. Authenticity couldn't be compromised.

OUR APPROACH:

We developed and produced a multilingual testimonial series built around real Taptap Send users and their families. Each story was carefully shaped to highlight themes of duty, love, and cultural identity—told from the user’s point of view, in their own language.

THE EXECUTION

The entire campaign was produced end-to-end in Urdu, Tagalog, and Nepali, with each piece grounded in cultural specificity—real-world settings, nostalgic textures, and story structures that reflected dual perspectives: the immigrant experience in the U.S. and the familial life being supported abroad. These mirrored narratives gave the final edits emotional clarity and cross-cultural depth.

We led the full creative and production pipeline:

  • Creative Development: Interview-based scripting rooted in emotional themes: promise, pressure, pride

  • Multilingual Storytelling: Three distinct films produced in Urdu, Tagalog, and Nepali

  • Casting & Direction: Real Taptap users, shot on our sets, their workspaces, and community settings

  • Cinematic B-Roll: Warm-toned, grain-textured visuals capturing dual POVs—life in the U.S. and family back home

  • Production Design: Custom set designs reflecting the specific cultural identity of each subject

  • Post-Production: Translation, subtitling, scoring, and editing—handled by our network of talented contractors with consistent oversight from our team

The OUTPUT

Along with the final testimonial videos for Pakistan, Philippines, and Nepal, our agency also delivered over 30 CTA videos and static graphics to support the overall campaign.

These assets were utilized as social content and ads for Taptap, helping them to reach audiences in multiple regions through thoughtfully curated videos.
